DESCRIPTION:Come help us prepare the farm for a new season of community\, play\, and learning! \n\nJoin us for a relaxed\, family-friendly work party as we tend the gardens\, refresh outdoor spaces\, and prepare for Wild Play Wednesdays and our upcoming Forest & Farm Co-Op. Children are welcome and encouraged to play\, help\, explore\, and simply be part of the experience.\n\nNo special skills are needed\, and there is no expectation to work the whole time. Come for an hour or stay for the morning. Every helping hand makes a difference.\n\n Friday\, June 26 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM Optional picnic lunch to follow Forest City\, NC (address provided upon registration)\n  \nPossible projects include: \n Garden tending and harvesting Light weeding and mulching Trimming muscadines and pathways Refreshing play spaces Simple projects and seasonal preparations\n\nThis is a laid-back gathering rooted in the spirit of village life—working side by side\, letting the children play\, sharing conversation\, and enjoying time together.\n  \nFeel free to bring: \n Water bottle and sun hat Gloves and favorite garden tools (optional) Picnic lunch if you’d like to stay afterward A snack or fruit to share An open heart and willingness to connect\n  \nWhether you’re curious about future programs\, looking to meet like-minded families\, or simply want to spend a beautiful morning outdoors\, we’d love to have you.\n\n Space is limited.
